Hi all,

Does there exist a tool for mpg-files which can determine what bitrate video and audio have?

TIA

i use ReMPEG2... it's not really meant for that, but it gives a nice graph of the bits per frame as it loads the m2v file, and at the end it gives an average bitrate.

it's useful for tuning single pass encodes to get a "rule of thumb" bitrate for otherwise unpredictable settings (like constant quality/quantizer encodes where the amount of action dictates the bitrate).
