I've seen a pattern on my Win2k Server running D2S121B2 (original and A and B subbuilds).
In one case I ripped using DVD Decrypter (not with the vStrip plugin) and in another case I used DVD Decrypter via the vStrip plugin. In these cases, Scenarist disappearred without a trace sometime after the import process and at least well into the remux process.
I don't see this problem using the internal ripper.
This is an odd thing since DVD Decrypter works fine for me outside of D2S, and on smaller IFOs it works fine with D2S, but when it comes to doing the full movie, it's a no go. It's also odd to me that the problem shows up so late in the process. I guess something about the IFO files is throwing it?
Hope that helps someone. It took me a while to connect the ripping tool to this Scenarist behavior.
It's always a good idea to follow directions, and indeed it is strongly recommended to use the internal ripper.
Regards,
Stuart
