Hi all,
I need to reinstall a multimedia-only computer and I want it to play a wide range of content.

It only decodes, there will be NO encoding done on this pc whatsoever.

Which DivX3 implementation should I use:
-The original DivX3 with the antifreeze patch

or

-The Maya pack?

MTIA,
Crusty

Ffdshow if you are not too picky with luminance variation,
Divx3.11 alpha or maia pack, both are already good as native decoding.
Divx5.1 can be used too, since some of the decoding bugs where fixed.

So the answer might depend on what filtering aspect you prefer
or you can apply...

If you decided to use MAIA with DivXAF, you must download DivXAF_v0.4_for_MAIA_pack_v1.0.rar.zip, check my last post on this thread http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=32453 for details.
