Correcting menu links

I have just ripped a movie using the big 3 but after i have ifoupdated it quite a few of the menu links are wrong i was wondering is there anyway that i can fix the links using ifoedit or menuedit..

Ifoupdate will not cause your links to be wrong (except if you did something wrong in the process like updating the wrong ifo?)

i figured out the problem it was because it was multi pgc on the dvd there is 6 episodes but the ifo says 12 so i just installed newer version of dif4u and its created some dummy pgcs and its sorted that problem but now on my menu the play all button just links to the dummy pgcs :( i have used menuedit and managed to link it to episode one but cant get it to play other episodes when thats done it just goes straight back to the menu anyone have any ideas?

You'll have to adjust your scenarist script manually. Instead of the dummies create a matching structure.

If your play all pgc contains all vobids of the entire vts set you can also delete all pgc, but the play all one from your sceanrio and compile. Use ifoupdate in adjusted cell mode afterwards.

Normally there's absolutely no need to correct menu links if you did a proper reauthoring job. Feel free to send the ifo by mail (influenza@influenza.speedlinq.nl) so I can take a look at the structure.

All the PGCs have unique vobids. dif4u should not uncheck anything (this is the original ifo right?). So it shoulod be really straight forward. All pgcs checked demux by pgc run ra and compile your script.

that ifo is the one i got after i did ifoupdate also i did have every pgc checked in dif4u.. but the play all button on the dvd is linking to the dummy pgcs ra created

Well the original ifo would be much more usefull. I don't know if ra shoulod create any dummies I need the original ifo for that.

Ok it just looks that pgcs 7-12 are exactly the same as 1-6.

So check 1-6 create your script and then manually replace the dumies with the matching pgcs.

So for example delete the dummy video of pgc7 and copy the video from pgc1 etc

After compile do a standard ifoupdate.

no it won't be double the size. It's seamlessly branched.
It's just like the original is anyway. Just do it as described and you'll be fine.
