We have project is DVD to WMV8
anyone can tell me a quick way?

If I demux them, I got a 1 .m2v and 1 .wav
Microsoft Media encorder utility can't read .m2v
I try use TMPGenc MPEG tool Mulitplex
first convert .wav to mpa
them multiplex .m2v an .mpa
but i got a error message is
GOP xxx over flower, play maybe have a problem
If I load DVD Project
and recompress to MPEG-2 .MPG is ok
but it's a long time
normal MPEG-2 .mpg can use VegasVideo or Premiere
to convert WMV8 format.

1) WMV8 is old and ugly, use WMV9, XviD or RV9!!!
2) You need AVISynth to load the m2v like a AVI

I agree with Sirber. WMV8 is quite awful, WMV9 is much better!

I can understand why you would like to use a Windows Media product but encoding to WMV(.wmv) is just not as easy to do as say, encoding to DivX!

Cheers

EDIT: WindowsMedia Encoder9 can read .m2v files. You just have to encode the video and audio separately and mux them together with Windows Media Stream Editor
