AviUtl filters >> AviSynth filters. I've been using this for my encodes for a year now. Even though it doesn't strictly work in YV12, the results are much better.

I've been trying to figure out how to get the key defs option in 99 and got pretty frustrated until I found your site about swapping the language files. Now if only those cool filters had english translations:(

I also sent to Fred the rotate, bmp_output, and telop filters/plugins edited for english, although I have no clue what some of the options for telop actually are. If anyone wants to fix that, or others, the easiest way is to just download a hex editor (I use xvi32), make a copy, then open the copy and search for letters which show up in the strings. Overwrite those being careful not to insert extra blocks (making the file larger) with the english letters, save and tada! you have "translated" filters :) Be careful also not to go beyond the characters you can actually see, or you might overwrite important data (for the total newbies to compiled code). Of course you can search for what I inserted and just replace it if you find something more useful to your tastes/language. So check Fred's great site for those files all of you english-speaking users.

I also forgot to include the original japanese language files, which might include any copyrights, although I left in the filters the names of the creators when they existed. I also did not put my name or any other change in the files.

Also, does anyone know how to make aviutl99 buffer output? I cannot give it a buffer size at all, with any language file, which will actually be saved. I have used aviutl for a long time, and I love some things in 99, but the constant disk access annoys me and my drives.
