I have bought a DVD burner that allows to burn DVD-RAM at 3x. I expected it to fill the disc in about 20 minutes, but it takes about 45. I made several tests, including file copy and a physical format. Moreover, the DVD-RAM formatting program that came with the burner, adviced me that the process could take 35 to 55 minutes.
The DVD-RAM is 3x, is one of the trademarks recommended for the manufacturer and it was a free test disk that came with the burner.
Is that normal?
Does 3x means the same for DVD-RAM than for DVD-R?
Appart, if you know any good DVD-RAM driver, please tell me.
