Hello.
I first asked the following question in the CCE forum ( http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=61539 ), but as I think the problem may be with BatchCCEWS or DoCCE4U, I guess that this is the right forum to look for help.
I've been using CCE with almost no problems for 2 years. And in the last months i've been following this forum, and using the Big3 with success.
I've changed my motherboard to one with an NForce2 chipset, reinstalled OS and software, and then the problems began. CCE keeps crashing right after it finishes one pass of encoding (either at the end of VAF file creation, or at the end of the first encoding in a multiple pass encoding.
I first thought that it had to do with my MB. But now i think it has to do with either BatchCCE/DoCCE4U, or the way it makes Ecl files. Let me explain why.
First of all, I'm not an expert of CCE. So i use either DVD2SVCD, DVD2DVD-R, or the Big3 to do my encodings. I've tried CCE 2.50; 2.66; 2.67; AviSynth 2.08 and 2.5; EclCCE 1.6; with the same behaviour. And I've tried it in 3 computers (2 AMD with NForce2 and 1 Intel).
In DVD2SVCD it fails with a "list out of bounds" error. Didn't have the time yet to check what it means.
With DVD2DVD-R (1.51) ti works perfectly.
With the Big3 it works perfectly until BatchCCE/DoCCE starts. In one of the computers BatchCCE just uses 99% of my CPU, and it never starts. On the other 2 it has a very strange behaviour. If I'm encoding a small movie it works; if the movie is main movie it crashes just after it encodes the Vaf file (I'm doing Robshot-Bach). If I let it going it goes to the 2nd Robshot-Bach pass, and crashes at the end of the 1st pass of that encoding).
I've tried using multiple pass, but the same happens.
And if i start CCE with the Ecl files generated by the Big3, it crashes in the same spot.
I've compared the Ecl files generated by DVD2DVD-R and BatchCCE, and they sure are different, although i don't know if those differences are significant.
So, what do you think? Why I'm getting this kind of behaviour? Tried all i could think off (reinstalled everything; tried different OS updates and drivers; scanned for viruses; runned memtest and Prime95; changed computer; tried different movies) but it still doesn't work.
If anyone outthere has some clue of what is happening, please let me know.
Sincerely
MM
