grencode?

What is this grencode mpeg I keep seeing on films, is it a form of KVCD? I have tried to burn a copy of a grencode mpeg file the same way I did a KVCD but my dvd player didnt like it.

pls elaborate a little further what exactly a 'grencode' mpeg file is... never heard of those in my life!

I did a google search and found 2 sites, one was warez and the other was not found.

What this guy did is he downloaded some movie and don't know how to burn/watch it.

Somebody is reencoding telesync movies to kvcd:s. Gr is just somekind of name to show that he or she did it.

I DO know how to burn kvcds, its just that I have had trouble with 2 of these that have the name -grencode- attatched to it. I was only wondering if anyone else was having these problems or if there is something I am missing.

Pls. remember rule 6 as well ...

Personally, I find it quite pointless to put too much effort into off-standard things that aren't accepted by most standalones. If you are not interested in standalone compatibility, go for an avi format or sth. similar.
