I'm getting a warning *1 out of 3 DVD-Video streams failed to render properly - subpicture stream..... I selected 'yes' to continue. Then it get "Cannot get IVideoWindow interface" problem whenever I use the DVD play of ifoedit. It was working before and something happened that it won't work anymore. I'm using PowerDVD. Please somebody help me. Thanks a lot.

Probably some third party software has taken controll of the codecs in windows.
To register the PowerDVD Codecs for use in MPlayerII and Ifoedit you can download this tool:
PowerDVD codec installer (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=59243)

Update to 4.0

I've also seen that error message on a system that didn't have its grafic card installed properly. The overlay wasn't available!

I found that this problem occurs if you don't have full hardware accelleration in your display properties. (Right click desktop, Properties, Advanced, Performance).............z

PS. You might want to check your graphics card drivers, etc......

I've found 2 things that can cause this problem, and I believe it has something to do with video overlay.

One, I had the same problem when I had DVD Shrink 3.1 open and I tried to play a DVD I had open in IfoEdit. Once I shut down DVD Shrink, I was able to play the DVD

Two, I have an nVidia card with both DVI and Analog ports. I couldn't play a DVD in IfoEdit when I had the Digital display cloned to the Analog Display in the "nView Display Mode" setting. I changed the setting to "Single" and was able to play a DVD.

Hope this helps:helpful:
