DVD2DVD will NOT work with CCE Basic...

Has anyone gotten DVD2SVCD and CCE Basic to work together? I've tried several times and always get an error message similar to this:
fexp_open():***Could not create the file <=E:BATTLE_OF_BRITAIN\video\Encoded_Video_CCE_NTSC.mpv>*** The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect. [Windows error code: 0x7b 123]

However there's no problem using CCE SP. Was DVD2SVCD ever tested with CCE Basic? Anybody else have this problem? Any ideas?

and your choosing 2 pass VBR correct?

Mrbass, right on both accounts...
The \ is in the error message, I just mis-typed it.
And I did select 2-pass VBR (which is the best CCE basic can do).
Please give it a try to verify my findings.

Thanks for the link. I should have use the search function first I guess. I'll give it a try soon. Of course it adds a few more 'clicks' than simply using CCE 2.5
