Could someone please explain this mode or setting in for example in divx 5. If I have two simultaneous clips playing or I am capturing while playing video, colors are misplaced(chromi or luminance?)

iirc it is not recommended to have to windows for video playback (capture) open... i think it has something to do with DirectShow (DirectX) limitations...

I am new to use of DVD in all forms. Can someone tell me what is YUV.
Can someone also point me to a website that lists and defines all the useful terminology for the DVD fanatic?

here's (http://www.doom9.org/glossary.htm) a glossary, written by doom9... it explains all those confusing terminologies you'll enclounter in the numerous guides :)
YUV is a colorspace or in other words a method how the image information is stored. other formats are RGB24/32 or YV12...

About YUV... (Was originaly posted by acalia in this (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=38304&perpage=20&pagenumber=2) thread...)
Y is calculated by taking the R G B channels with certain weights
U is calculated by taking the Red channel and subtracting Y
