DVD-9 to DVD-5 "Full Copy" Instructions

http://doom9.free.fr/mpg/maestro2.htm

Using this tutorial, I encoded my m2v file with CCE, when I play the m2v file, it looks perfect, than I compile all the files ( ac3+ subtitles+ m2v ... ) with dvd maestro and the result is strange.

( I used 16:9 ps/lb in maestro )

After compiling all this, I created a DVD image with Nero 6 but when I play this image in real one player and windows media player the video is so bad I show by moments pixels and the image is not clean.

When I play the vob files I compiled in dvd maestro with DVD2avi or virtualdub, it still looks perfect so what's the matter?

And another issue is that i cannot play the dvd image file with powerdvd ( dvd region free desactivated )

thks

I just noticed that when I use TMPGenc instead of DVDMaestro, the quality is perfect but I cannot make subtitles with TMPGenc...

Having a perfect image in dvd2avi and vdub means that CCE encoded the video as it should and u wont have quality problems. Authoring with maestro ensures compatibility with the specs.

Your title set is perfectly OK. I suggest to build the image using imgtools and test its playbackability. If OK burn with dvddecrypter.

I am still not trusting Nero to do a decent job.

I used Winiso to make an image file, it doesn't work neither.
I also noticed that when I open the VIDEO_TS file on my hard drive from power dvd it works perfectly, the problem comes when I make an image file.
