I am currently using img burn tool for burining my back up copies, and using dvdshrink for my ripping. They work fine for my sony 300+1 disc player, however they dont work in most of the dvd players that i have tried other than mine. Im a using a hp dvd+r/rw burner. (300i). For example my roommate has an apex stand alone player and it plays pretty much all dvd+r's made by other rippers. I have come to the conclusion that it is not the ripping program that im using, but the burnng tool. I guess my question is .....what buring tool gives would be more "user friendly" towards dvd+r stand alone players. Is the one that is more widely used in buring for multiple users. Or should i use in all in one ripper and burner program.????

Thanks

I also have a Sony standalone. Strangely in my experience, I only burn DVD-R for it(I have a dual format burner), because DVD+R didn't work much of the time.
My best success was with RecordNow Max.
