Having problem with DVDShrink 3.0 beta5

I just tried DVDShrink 3.0 beta5 and have been having a problem with the re-author option. After I load my movie and click on re-author the DVDShrink main window pops up (to the left and partialy on top of the window I had open) as if I just started up DVDShrink twice. Everything is blank in the new window, no titles loaded, and I can either load the movie again or exit to my original window that opened. (re-author never works)

I've been using v2.3 and it has worked fine for me every time. When I load the same movie in v2.3 and click re-author it loads the available source titles (without another window popping up to the left) and I select and trim as I desire. I tried 5 different movies with v3.0 Beta5 and had the problem every time, all 5 worked fine and I could re-author in v2.3.

I assume no help files are being included in beta because when I click on help topics a small window pops up "failed to launch help".

I would appreciate any help with this.

(re-author never works) You need to drag your Title from the first window to the new window that pops up with you pressed your re-author button. Re-authoring procedures in v2.3 and 3.0 beta 5 are different.

In v2.3 when you click the help tab, help topics, you get help files. In v3.0 beta5 when you click help tab, help topics, you get nothing. That's what I was saying.

The only guide I looked at for DVDShrink 3.0 beta5 was the one in doom9 (DVD Shrink 3 (http://www.doom9.org/index.html?/mpg/dvdshrink3-main.htm)). I just went back to it and noticed that the re-author part of the guide (movie only) covers v2 not v3. That's why I got confused and posted.

I also wanted to add that I did not know DVDShrink had 2 websites.

I always wondered why DVDShrink had no guides on its website, now I know why.

mudda_t, it is because dvdshrink.info is not an official site, even though dvdshrink (the developer) more than approves of it.
dvdshrink.org is. ;)

I simply made it to help and inform DVD Shrink users.
My small contribution to this excellent software and the DVD backupers community. :)
