Plextor px-708a Recording for Video

The bundled Roxio software does not have a Video-DVD option. Who has this drive, and what software "version" works best for recording video. I bought this drive in hopes of being more compatable with other peoples DVD players.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Did you get WinOnCd 6 from Roxio? - thats really good, I made many DVDs with it.

What about using freeware?

-> ImgTool Classic for making the images, and DVD Decryptor for burning

the best avenue is to record quickly from the video_ts folder. I guess the Roxio software works. It does with a couple of my stand alone players.

Does image burns work better than video_ts recordings?

Dumb question: can you use this drive or other e-ide drives with Mac's g4's?
