In many of the guides and threads I see GOP. Would someone please define this term?
In many guides and procedures using IFO Edit, I see the phrase, "Refresh IFO Edit." Does this mean to save the current IFO, exit the program and then restart IFO Edit

GOP is a term used in MPEG video. It means "Group Of Pictures." In general, one starts with a key frame, also called an I-frame, followed by frames which only have changes in them. These are either Predictive frames (P-frames), or Bidirectional (B-frames).

Refreshing is another term for updating what you see in your IFOedit window. You don't necessarily have to save and open it up again as there are other quicker methods, but if you Get VTS Sectors without saving then your edits are lost. A personal trick I do is toggle the "Show Reserved Values" checkbox and when you see your window blink, you know the screen has been refreshed with updated data.
Remember, refresh screen = update screen.
