hi all,

i use premiere pro for editing, and want to use procoder v1.5 to export to mpeg2. however, i read that the canopus dv codec has that chroma bug causing the end result to be crap.

is this only the case if you install the standalone dv codec or does it install with procoder ? if yes, then how can i disable it ? i want to use procoder, but without the nasty dv codec.

thanks.

I ve checked it...and it does install the codec, which is probably used in decoding of dv files.....which ofcourse i dont want it to do. i used a tool to disable the codec. and provoder still works fine. so i guess it works....i will check against the original avi to see if it doesnt suffer from the chromabug for sure.
