i have a movies that is in (S)VCD format but some how the movies is like stop and go and stop and go.

with what you've been encoding your mpegs? If you downloaded them they might be truncated as you see in your log file! How do these files play in stand-alone?

well i just got my answer already.the movies stop and play,cause i burn it on CD RW,so when i tryed the R CD,then it play great.i have another problem which the movies doesn't match with the sound when i tryed using videospliter software.The first one work fine but the second one does'nt match the sound with the movies.SO can you help me out please.thanks a lots.

i think videosplitter cut videos where you ask to.. It's important to cut at I-Frame points. I use TMPGEnc to cut my movies. If video is not cutted at keyframe point video might be asynched with audio..

the rule I use is "begin on an I-frame and end on the frame immediately before the ending I-frame" So using that method the 2nd part of your split movie will begin on an I-frame.

to make everything easier,just use easy video spliter version 2.01,cause i've been wasting a bunch of hr on how to split movies until i got this software which is really good.just search yahoo for it and it'll come up.thank for the help by the way.late.
