Number of CD's

Is there an option under DVD2SVCD to simply tell it to burn the movie across 2 or 3 disks or some other specified number?

For some reason i seem to remember being able to specify a number of CD's to use but now i can't seem to find that option anymore.

note: I'm just trying to do a conversion, i.e. ripping a CD then converting it down to SVCD.

Not exactly, but you can make sure the timeband in the bitrate tab is set to the amount of disks you want. Like if you have a 90 minute source you would make sure the band that includes 90 minutes is set for the amount of cds you want.

You can set number of CD=n in all the rows of the bitrate tab.

Try Tylos' plugin if you want somebody to advice you on the number of CDs to use to obtain a given quality.
