Hi guys,
I try to backup Metropolis using the big 3. However this disc is slightly disappointing because it has menus in VIDEO_TS.VOB (400 Mb) and also menues in VTS_01_0.VOB. This last one takes 1 Gb, so I end up with 1.4Gb of menus! After inspection with DVD2AVI, I see that VTS_01_0.VOB has 10% of menus and 90% of crap that has been put there to fill the VOB up to 1Gb. When I process the disc with Reauthorist, it keep 1.4Gb space for menus and wants to compress the movie at a bitrate of 1114 :( way too low for me...
So I was wondering of any way to remove the 90% crap from VTS_01_0.VOB. I tried it with IfoEdit, but that part of the VOB is not referrenced anywhere. Does anybody know of any tool I can use to remove that part from VTS_01_0.vob?
Thanks...

Something you're doing isn't right. Either "Menu Extra" or "VOB Extra" should work (my guess is you need "Menu Extra").
