1st, since my subs are external they are not included in the cue file.Should i just add them in the blank cd directory when i burn the cue file?Does that work?
2nd, dvd2svcd has extracted the subs, and created a sub file,a text file and has all the subs from each frame in bitmap images. The only movie file i got is the bbmpeg_muxed_file(mpeg).When i try to playback with power dvd, it still won't play the subs.

I tried vobsub, and extracted the same subs again. It played normally on divxplayer 2.1(with subs),but still not on power dvd.(win media player won't play the movie file).
Is there any codec i should use???

Thanks for helping

Selectable svcd subs cannot be displayed in software players. Only standalones (and not all of them) will play them.
The cue file will not indicate whether subs are present or not.
