I have received a .mpg file from a friend who captured a movie for me.
The .mpg-file though skips at certain points when playbacked with WinDVD or ZoomPlayer. Also the DVD-RW skips at the same point with a standalone player.
I checked the .mpg -file with MPEG2VCR and it seems though that the frames are all there. What is the reason for skipping?
My friend used some other application than PVAinstrumento with his clip to make it compatible with DVD-authoring. I have 2 versions of the .mpg file - one multiplexed with TMPGEnc and one multiplexed with BBMPEG. Both files skip though.
What to do in order to get rid of the skipping?
Any info would be most appreciated,
