View Full Version : Authoring by VOB-ID, It is not really "seamless"

Hi

I tried The Matrix by VOB-ID and duplicated the IFO layout exactly as the original,
but when I am playing the DVD it has a pause and a kind of jump during transition from VOB-IDs with "white rabitt" to non-white rabitts ones.
It happens no matter I play the main movie or the white-rabitt PGC (which is PGC6)
Do I have to change something in cells or PGC in Scenarist to make this go away or that's the way it is ?

Thanks

There can be two things:

1) there's a bug in dvd2avi, causing frames to be cut off from the end of your video. If you have a lot of vobids this might be visible if you have a lot of vobids
2)look in your scenarist scenario. It might be that your cells are NSM (not seamless). If so try if you can change that to SM (seamless)

Influenza,
Thanks for the reply.

I tried the NSM flags in Scenarist, I could change it to SM for any other cell but the ones with buttons.
So I guess it is the bug from DVD2AVI.

There's a modded version of DVD2AVI that solves this problem will the cut frames and it also contains a version of MPEG2DEC3.DLL modded for the modded DVD2AVI! Look at DVD2AVI forum
