Are there filters against stuttering?

Hi,

Whether dealing with captures, hybrid movie decimation or others, we all had the stuttering experience.

What are the available approaches on this field at the moment?

Developing a filter specifically to fight stuttering (not necessarily MotionPerfect-like or Philips DNM-like) would be an interesting challenge... :)

The only one I know for now:

Hybrid decimation: blend video, 5 frames into 4.

Probably a better approach would be much more (MP) complicated. :)
