I have a audio file, wich seems to be canned (I don't know the exact technic term, because I'm Spanish, the effect is like to hear the sound trough a metallic tube)

Any idea of how to eliminate it? (I know how to do it if there was noise)

kwyjibo99,
you forgot to post the file type!
is wave,mp3,mp2...? (seems mp3 at low bitrate,don't?)

Well, it's a 128 Kbps MP3 file, but I think this is not important...

yes,is important!

i only got this problems with mp3 a long time ago
and was needed to confirm the source!
i think that you can't repair it,was encoded in wrong way(only my opinion),and i never see this type of problem with good restauration.

I think it's a consequence of reducing the noise level on the file...
