Dolby Laboratories has acquired Cinea, a start-up content-protection and anti-piracy technology company based in Virginia

Most of Cinea's staff previously formed the senior technical and operating team for Digital Video Express, LP (Divx), a Circuit City subsidiary that implemented a highly secure DVD-based delivery system.
We'll have to see if Dolby is as succesful in anti-priacy as it has been in DD5.1 in DVDs.
