where can I found information about retrieving bitrates,number of samples and number of channels from AC3 and DTS files? Thanks

For AC3 you can find information on the ATSC Site (http://www.atsc.org) (standards section).
What you need is the ATSC Standard A/52A (Digital Audio Compression (AC-3) Standard, Rev. A) (http://www.atsc.org/standards/a_52a.pdf).

For DTS there was the ETSI TS 102 114 document on ETSI (http://www.etsi.org) site but now you need an account to download the document :/
