I have been trying to encode a 5.1 AC3 Audio file to AAC with Nero. I downloaded the AC3 Plugin for Nero but due to it being buggy which I found in another thread it only encodes about 15 MB worth of data from the 2.5 hour long AC3.
I then transcoded the AC3 to 5.1 AIF with BeSweet so I could use Nero to Encode it in AAC.
Now for some reason Nero cuts about 7 minutes of of the file when its done. The AC3 is 2 hours 11 minutes long but only encodes upto 2 hours 4 minutes.
So I thought it may have been the Nero Encode GUI being screwed so I downloaded Nero MIX that I had read about during my forum research.
Now this ended up even screwier. It encoded fine, perfect length but then it starts encoding again and goes through till about 5% then stops, tagging about 12 minutes onto the end of the file.
I am about to beat my head into my desk at this time. I am using the latest Nero and NeroMIX.
AAC Settings are:
- Variable Bitrate - Normal :: High
- Encoder Quality - High
- AAC Profile - LC
