I know that lots of people use C3D to denoise their DV footage, since it does the job so well. :D
But i must admit im a bit confused about the settings. Ok, every footage must be treated separately, i can understand, but still. In my latest encode of DV, i used (0,8,10,8,10,3,0) and the result is ok. but im acting like a blind melon... :eek: cause i dont really understand what it does exactly and how to change it correctly..
I'd like to hear from you.
Just paste your setting -> like (0,8,10,8,10,3,0) or (1,6,10,6,8,2.8,0)
and give description of your DV -> like lots of motion, mostly static, dark lite, sun light....
I guess it might help me.. ;)

PS: heres what my AVS looks like...

I then convert to XviD, encode my sound to Vorbis, extract the time stamp of my DV to *.sub and mux it all to Matroska. :D
