What I'm trying to do is set the what should play first when the DVD is inserted. Normally this is already set and it's just a matter of editing the proper "Pre" Command in the PCG command table in order to change it. However, this DVD has no First Play defined therefore there is no Pre value to change.
In this case there is no Pre command because a first play was never defined. This can cause problems when playing back on certain devices and players. I was wondering how I would go about setting the first play without having to reauthor the DVD.
So far I've tried right clicking the PGC command table and selecting "Add PreCommand". This will seemingly create all of the necessary tables and then I can go back and edit what the first PreCommand should be. I've also noticed that it adds 3 other huge tables, namely the PGC program map, cell playback info, and cell position info table. I don't usually see this in most DVDs I've opened up w/IFOEdit, but I assumed it was still ok. However, when I choose to save the IFO file I get an error similar to the following: "There's something wrong! The IFO End sector does not match the filesize." After this I'll go to check my VIDEO_TS.ifo files and they'll be only 2 kb when they should be 12. Anybody know a way to accomplish this that actually works, or perhaps a way to fix the error message I'm receiving? TIA.
