Hi folks,

when opening a script generated by ReAuthorist everythings's imported including the chapterpoints.

When I try to do this manually, I cant' find a possibility to import a chapterfile, as the option "Tools - Import chapters" is always deactivated.

When demuxing with DIF4U, DVDDecrypter also spits out a chapterfile for Maestro (*.chp) and a chapter information file for scenarist, 'cause I activated that manually, but I didn't find a possibility to import that chapter-information manually, as I said before.

My thought is, that the chapterpoints must be inside the RA script. I tried to search the RA script to find where the chapters are "hidden", but I didn't find anything.

Can someone enlighten me about that?

i believe the chapters aren't wriiten as such. If you look at the RA script you will see different items. Each item is a different cell. Remember that all a chapter point does is start a new cell. If you have 10 chapters you will have 1 vob, but 10 cells.

What you are calling "chapters" Scenarist sees as "scenes"...

When manually reauthoring you export the project to a script then load the script into a utility called "ScenChap" - if your project is PGC demuxed you can point to the IFO and have ScenChap auto setup chapters/scenes. - if VOBID based or Cellbased, you need to get that file out of ifoupdate or the like....

when you re-import the file into Scenarist, the Tracks will expand to show the scenes in there.....
