On a widescreen anamorphic movie, I encoded the movie with deen("a3d", 3,4,1,4). Part of the screen on top and below the movie is dark green. I know YV12 and YUY2 are not good choices for this and RGB is better. I have to use converttoyuy2() for CCE Basic. I also set the video to 0-255 because I usually get good results with this after running DVD2AVI with the TV setting. What would you suggest as the best solution for the problem? Or was it something I did wrong. Should I use the letterbox filter after the deen line? I would like to continue to use deen or some chroma\luma filter line because I get good results.

I think it's this (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=38304&highlight=compression+orange) problem you're encountering...

I didn't think it would produce good results, but I will try ConverttoRGB32() and see how the results are on my stand alone.
