Sincerely I'm getting really, really tired understanding how ifoupdate works.
I've proceeded exactly as indicated in a doom's 9 guide.
I have a DVDR, where i wanted to add a new subtitle.
So I demuxed video, audio and only the subtitles from the DVD that i wanted to keep.
Because, DVDmaestro seems to only accept one pallete to subtitles, I decided to extract the subtitles i wanted with subrip into ssa, then i used maestroSBT to turn them into DVDmaestro compliant subtitles.
This way I had now only 3 subtitles to add, one of these was the new subtitle that the DVD did not have.
I also corrected the AC3 file, for correct audio delay.
I imported all assets into DVDmaestro and created the compilation.
Then i copied the new authored vobs and copied over the the original ones (i only kept the original VTS_01_0.vob and the original IFO).
Then i tried to do the update with ifoupdate and i got the following error... "The original's IFO PGC is not large enough to hold the new PGC. ABORTING".
So my question is, what did I do wrong?

The answer is, you messed up the layout while reauthoring somewhere.

If you comapre the authored ifo to the original you'll see some difference there (less chapters/cells/pgcs, something like that).

influenza thnks once again, looks like you're the only one that can help me wuth my problems :)
I had one more chapter, than the original.
By the way, I have a strange problem, I extracted the subtitles from the DVD, but they're not synchronized with the movie, is there any reason for this to happen? What can I do to be sure of the delay?
Thanks once again, a lot!

There are lots of people who can help you, but maybe they have a more busy job then me :D

And besides that i'm quite sure you would have found some clues if you did a search with your error message ;)

I never had any desynchronised subs as far as I can remember. Maybe domething to do with multiple angles or so.
