Ok... might be a dumb question, then again maybe not....
Doing a movie by VOBID (multi-angle) - re-encoded using the calculations from DIF4U
Problem is when I reauthored... my resulting file size for the VTS is about 4.6 gig
from looking at the IFO's... everything looks correct.
I'm wondering if the calculations are off or if I did something wrong.. I know that's kind of vague but I wondered if anyone else has had accurate or inaccurate results
Thanks

Sometimes if you have a mixed disc (some vob by vobid and others just by pgc) the calculation can be slightly off. I noticed this a couple of times, but it's not consistent. So most of the time the calculation is spot on. SOmetimes you're not that lucky and it isn't. Doesn't happen to much fortunately.

hrm... well apparently I'm one of those "occations" :)
muxed the VTS is 4.6gig on it's own... still have another 600Mg w/ of other stuff to put in :(

I'm talking about 20-50 mb overshot tops. 6000 mb is odd

Ok... I'm sure I did something wrong somewhere.. tried to follow Trilights Insomnia notes...
Movie I'm doing has 83 VOBID's and 4 PGC
PGC1 is VOBID 1-69
PGC2 is VOBID 1-59,70-70
PGC3 is VOBID basically the same...
Do I have to author all PGC's at the same time?? Trilight mentioned that but I'm a little confused I guess.
Or can I do PGC1 which is 1-69 (those 69 vobid's addressed) then PGC2 which is the same + 70-79...etc...
Somehow I'm sure I did something wrong even though my resulting IFO files look somewhat the same IFOUpdate shows TOTALLY different cell counts....
Any better guide then the insomnia notes for multiangle/multi-pgc by vobid?
can't believe of all the movies I've done this is the first that needs to be done by vobid

I wonder if you have the same "multi-angle double-audio" problem as mine.

alight.. I feel like an ass.....
after talking to a few people (thanks) i realized I followed the seamless branching guide on a multiangle movie....
Oh well... good experience w/ seamless branching
now just gotta figure out multiangle by vobid
