I'm seeing a curious pattern in results I get with the DVDinfo speed test, and was wondering if anyone has any thoughts on it. See the screenshot at the link below. The burns are all good, to high quality discs at 1x speed. They all have the same dip in the line at about the same point. I'm wondering if that's the layer break?

[BTW, is it possible to include an image link formatted the way other links are, so that the post just shows some text, like HERE, that points to the URL, without showing the whole text of the URL? Thanks.]

Yes just read the instructions on the vb code page. The link is at the bottom of this page that says VB code is on. VB is a link to the instructions.

Ah. Like THIS (http://home.rochester.rr.com/mellowyellow2000/images/taiyo%20yuden,%20good%20burn.jpg). I thought I tried that yesterday, and it didn't work. Thanks.

This type of dip can happen if there is a small reading problem. Perhaps there was some dust on the disc surface? What happens if you test the same disc again?

dunno. I'll try it and post back.
