I'm trying to convert from NTSC to PAL the Renewal of Evangelion (23.96 fps progresive frames) but the problem are the "ghost images" (blend fields). I've tried many ways and the best one is with Virtualdud converting it to 25 fps. There's not any ghost image but in fast scroll scenes each few frames you notice a little pause. There's any way to avoid this?
Also I've tried to interpolate the missing frames by morphing using Dynapel motion perfect, but it's not very accurate and you can see many artifacts. I'd like to telecine the video from 23.96 to 29.97 to use Dynapel motion perfect (I think is better to remove frames that introduce interpolated frames) but I don't know the script to use with avisynth. Please could you tell me what I need to write? I've used one from this forum, with decomb500b16.dll but it doesn't work. Anything related to the "agg" command or a similar name.
