well there's not too many rules that you DIDN'T break on that post but since you're new I won't strike you for it :)

Make sure to post a topic title that is relevant to your problem..."help please" is not very good.

Where is the video jerky, your PC or your standalone DVD player? Do you have your logfile? If so, post it (copy and paste the text)...

Please read the FAQ and the thread on how to make a good post so that we can help you out better in the future.

And as always, the search button can work wonders.

Scott

I have the same problem and know a way to resolve it with sacrificing some quality though. Try to encode it with Nero Express, it should be smooth. You will not be able to make VBR, so the quality will be samewhat lower. Also depending on your source file the fast forwarding might be not working.

If you mean that your video is lettebox, it should be done automatically.

Ok thanks i will try it it just that usualy when i try to encode with nero it turn the letterbox into 4:3 and then you get the sides cut of oh one more thing if a movie is two hours how would i go about spliting it in two for two cds so it would fit i dont know alot about nero thanks for your help thus far.

Nero does not allow you to play with anything, so if it converts it to 3:4 I could not advise you anything. It also does not split, so you load your movie to VirtualDub and cut it, it's really simpple, after that you encode each part with Nero. the good part is that with VirtualDub you can split is the way you want.
