how to fit a 750MB mpg-1 in a 700 MB blank CD??

Hi there guys,
Ive got this problem:
have a 750 MB mpg-1 file and i just dont know how to burn in vcd mode or as simple file to a 700 MB CD, cause NTI cd maker and easy cd creator say that the file doesnt fit, and even vcdeasy creates a too big image file (about 748MB)

The thing is that i already know that a big (more than 700MB) mpg-2 svcd file is reduced a lot when dvd2svcd creates the images ready to burn, and the images are, obviously, less than 700MB.
I dont know if there is someway to make the same thing dvd2svcd makes but with mpg-1 files.

Please im really disgusted cause i cant burn this.

By the way, I have heard that There is a version of WinDVD that plays Svcds, including svcd subs and 2 audio streams... DO
ES Someone know which version does this??

your file is not too big. An 80 minute (700 MB) CD can hold
approx 795MB of VCD, because the data is written in mode 2, and mode 2
allows more data to fit on the disk.

The vcd authoring on the software should set this mode automatically.

Which vcd auth. soft. should i download? i only have cdrwin 5 but it has some errors and i got errors when i try to create the vcd.
