ive just done lotrtt region 2(pal)it came out perfect,ok now i decided to watch it on my pc well did i get a shock when i looked at the region code it was now region 1 ntsc jesus!!!! any ideas cos it got me?.

from scenarist manual:

To configure Regional Codes:
In the Layout Editor directory area, select the Disc folder.
In the Property Browser, double-click the DVD Video Information folder, then double-click the Regional Area folder.
Set the Regional Code for each region. By default, all regions are enabled.

You can copy those files back to hd and use dvddecrypter to change the region.
