I've created a dvd but due to the limited software capabilities, it doesn't allow a play all feature. I'm curious as to how I can modify a button on a menu to set a variable (the play all) to 1 and then link to a movie.
What I'm attempting to do can be explained better here (http://davetong.tripod.com/PlayAll/). If someone could give me a better understanding of how to incorperate this into a menu I'd be very apreciative. Oh and don't reccomend another dvd authoring utility, as I have scenarist and the files are not compliant.

@kairos
Looks like my type of game. I assumed this is a multi-episode DVD. It's easy to change a button's command using MenuEdit, but that feature is only available on the registered version for a small fee of $16.50. I assure you, it's worth every penny and more, especially for backups that need menu button disabling.
What button are you are considering on using?

Actually this is a seperate post I just used the same example. maa your solution in my other post will work on this example as well, but I still need to find a way to pass variables through a menu button, as your solution could grow to well over 20 blank screens for what my boss has intended.
I will eventually be creating a menu with cut sceens and allowing the user to insert them into a movie. Then a play all would be passing the play all parameter followed by the movie, but the movie would play differantly depending on the users choices. I just can't find a way to send a variable and a jumpto command at the same time off a menu button. Its kind of hard to explain the extent to which I will need to know how to send a/many variables off a button on a menu, but this was a nice simple example I could learn from.
@2COOL, I have to remake my dvd as I totaly messed up the ifo trying on my own. I'll let you know when it's done
