i bought it in the us and im trying to back it up,i get the this is not formatted for this region in power dvd,it will play fine from the disc but when i rip the files to my hd it gives me the error ive tried the ifo region patch in dvddecryptor ive tried the util region free and ifo edit to correct this it still wont work,what the f?@"k!

If you used IFOedit's Region Free feature on your movie, you are suppose to select the region that your DVD came from. So in your case, you should've selected region 1.

i had alook through the forum and found your post on the simpsons ntsc quite enlightening but still couldnt quite grasp it, i get the all clear in ifoedit as far as "rce not found",this is the vts_ifo. from jackass region(1) i may have to rip the ifos etc again cos i tried the things mentioned it had no effect 1.Pre Command Set GPreg<5> mov (set-val)<1>(by my reckoning i should set this value to 2) help me!!!,thanks for your patience
