View Full Version : Using CCE filesize is too large for DVD

Using the latest DVD2SVCD 1.2.1. build 2, doing an AVI to DVD conversion. If I choose CCE as the encoder (version 2.67) the resulting MPG file is slightly too large and my authoring program (TMPGEnc DVD Author) complains. If I choose TMPGEnc Plus or Procoder, the file size is smaller and well below the authoring program's limit All DVD2SVCD settings remain the same, just switching encoders. For whatever reason, CCE produces a too-big file.

simply go to the bitrate tab and lower the cd size a little.

True, I could do that, but I was just curious as to why the problem only happens if I use CCE as the encoder and doesn't happen with TMPGEnc Plus or Procoder.
