Problem with DVD2SVCD

Greetings All:

I have search through the forums see if I can find a solution to the problem I have been having, but I have not been able to find one. If the answer is posted somewhere please direct me to it. In any case here is my problem.

I am using avi files (both Divx and Xvid) and converting to SVCD. The past few encodes that i have done I am getting static when the audio and video is muxed in DVD2SVCD. I am using the default settings that are in the guide to do the conversion, and I have converted many different things, but the last couple of times there is noticable static in the final mgp. You can check the audio file that DVD2SVCD creates and there is no static in it, but when it is muxed with the video the static is there.

I hope I have given enough information, if you need more, just let me know and I will try to provide it. I think there is a simple fix for the problem but I have not been able to locate it.

I am using the latest version of DVD2SVCD and CCE 2.5. The problem started with a previous of DVD2SVCD .9??, but I upgraded to the newest one to see if that would resovle the problem, it hasn't.

Any help that you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
