S-vhs

Forgive me if this is a stupid question, but if a graphics card is advertised as having S-VHS input, is that the same as s-video? I know that they both look like they mean the same thing.
Am thinking of buying a second user Asus v-3800 to replace rage 128 vivo as my camcorder has s-video out.

They are the same. They are only two names (one's false) for the same thing.
The "true" Name is S-Video, because Hi8 was the first Video-System which provided this Signal-Type. So it CAN'T be a S-VHS-Connection... ;)
