Hi all,

I am trying to merge to movies to create one DVD. I have the VOB files of both main movies in two separate directories. I tried the methode discribed in some guides to copy the VOBs into one directory and to rename them to get sequential VOB file names. Then recreate the IFO file with IFOedit. Unfortunatly the result is totaly screwed up. It plays in PowerDVD but whole chapters seem to be missing. I think this is a VOB ID issue but do not know enough to fix it. Can somebody help me with this? I do not need any menues or other add-ons in the resulting DVD, just the VOBs and IFO.

Best regards,
Reiner.

You could also use DVD Shrink 3.0 Beta 5(freeware) or DVD2One 3.0

I never had any luck with VobEdit at all. I tried to used Join clips, selected the (hopefuly) correct start VOB ID and the output file. After that nothing happened. Was this the wrong way?

I will give DVD Shrink 3.0 Beta 5 a try and see if it works for me.
