Hey everyone. i recently had a problem with TMPEG where when i pressed start a write error occurs (to do with ntdll.ll).

apparently there are many ways to fix it. these include:

1. copy ntdll.dll from WINDOWS\SYSTEM32 folder to your TMPEG directory

2. in TMPEG go to options>environmental variables>VFAPI tab and change Direct show's priority from -1 to 1.

3. re-install tmpeg

all the above didn't work for me. the only soultion i found, whcih is by far the simplest is:

4. close TMPEG. go to the directory and delete CurrentCfg.tpr, and start TMPEG. try it now. worked for me:)

P.S, all the information above was taken from multiple forums on the net. if anything ruins your pc (not that it's possible) don't blame me, i'm only advising and trying to help. and if i said anything wrong, if someone replies to inform me so then i 'll gladly edit it.

YOU ARE MY HERO! Anyway I would like to say thanks personally but before I get too happy (because it is still encoding into mpeg but it showed a run time error but I ignored) I would like to ask what did the changes I made do to my movie result? And if my audio was in different stream (playable ONLY with morgan stream switcher) then would it work after it gets encoded to mpeg? (You got msn messenger, its much easier to talk).

@ AR3A51, whatever change you made i don't think it will affect the movie result. the only one i'm sceptical about is no.2. i'm not completely sure what it means or how it works. i've never worked with any audio stream that's only playable with morgan stream switcher, and i've never heard of it, but i'm sure if you search this forum someone will have asked, if not then make your own thread.
