Official Disclaimer: These -R discs are usually CMC magnetics, so they may not be the best for movie-backup purposes, definitely ok for data storage and the like though... however the DVD+R are probably not CMC, anyone care to buy some and find out what they are?

Exactly same here - crappy playback on SONY DAV-S 550 as SiXXGuNNZ pointed out :(. It is the same as Imation and HP. All burned with ImgTool and HP DVD Writer 200i.

I burned mine with the HP 300n and CopyToDVD(unless it is a 1:1, then I use dvd decryptor)

kinda funny, the info on this media is almost identical to the TDK 4x +R, but the only difference I have seen is the TDK's play on everything I have thrown them at and the Memorex do not :)
