black screen

Hi,
Can someone please tell me why I get a black screen with avisynth across it. It will do so much of the movie and then the black screen

Again, use search button. Probably you have a corrupted avi file. There are various ways to fix it, but that subject is not supported here (at least by this dog). Avi2svcd conversion is for advanced users who understand the complexities involved. It is not a click and go situation and never will be as there are too many variants possible.
