Hi,

I read the topic on the subject, put lumafilter, unfilter, etc...

But after several tests, i think this is a problem with my config. I have the last koepi and ffdshwo alpha, i decode my films with ffdshow idtc xvid, postprocessing (auto, max, process all the image, and nic's).
I remember the result was good when i had last version (022003) and now i have a lot of artefacts, macroblocs in the dark scenes. I made a lot of xvid test, and finally, i noticed my divx5.05 films has the same problem. I have desinstalled ffdshow, xvid, divx5.05 and reinstalled only divx5.05 but always the same problem...

I don't know what i can do ! (format c ! :D ).

it must resize in the all sreen to see the block. Perhaps this is only a resize pb when decoding ?

Edit :
If i decode divx with divx5 decoder, the results seems to be better. But there is aways artefacts.
And i have the same problem on my two computer ! They have Ati radeon card, perhaps something has corrupt the driver ?
I m going to reinstall the driver...

The driver installation had have no effect...

I tested the koepi method : lumafilter and unfilter.
And the filter blockboster.

No difference. I think this is a decode problem !

I noticed the problem is on the middle bottom. But the top seems to be ok everytime...

do you use psychovisual/adaptive encoding techniques ( lumi masking )? If you do try to encode the movies without those algorithms.

I did a lot of test on the codec xvid, but i noticed i have this problem on all avi ! and not only mine. I think this is a decode problem, but as i have already desintalled/resintalled the codec and filters, i dont know what i can do now... Format c ! :(
I m sure this is a little problem but i must find the solution :)

The more stranger is the problem seems to be appear after install ffdshow and xvid koepi (the last) on my two computers... Together has a Radeon graphic chipset... Perhaps a conflict ! However a downgrad doesn't solve the problem. I m confused !

enable overlay on the ffdshow options, it will be your overlay messing things up :)
